Dental Veneers

Are you not completely happy with your smile?  Do you have gaps, odd shaped teeth, or teeth that are not as white as you’d like even after whitening?

Dental Veneers are a Great Way to Transform your Smile

Dental veneers are very thin, custom-designed shells of a tooth-like ceramic material that are permanently bonded to your existing teeth.  The veneer offers a beautiful, natural looking appearance and results in a tooth that has its original strength once the bonding is completed.

The life-like appearance, stain resistance, beauty and durability are achieved by the use of advanced dental porcelains. The advantage to a porcelain veneer is that it more closely mimics the appearance of a natural tooth than any other material and this makes them best suited for the ultimate smile makeover.

With dental veneers we can help you correct:

  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Spaces between teeth
  • Stained, discolored or washed out fillings
  • Permanently discolored teeth due to genetics or medications
  • Mis-shaped teeth or crooked teeth
  • White dark, yellow or stained teeth

Dental Veneers Give You A Hollywood Worthy Smile

While porcelain veneers will usually give you the finest cosmetic restoration available (depending on your need), they also come with a higher cost.  A lower cost alternative that can often achieve most of the same improvements to your smile, is composite. While they tend to be less durable than porcelain, they also offer the advantage of being easier to repair.  In some cases, they are not just the lower cost alternative, they sometimes can be the best choice to fit the situation.

Also, composite veneers are usually applied in one day, so no temporaries and no waiting for the permanent veneers to be returned from the lab.  The disadvantages are that they are not as strong as porcelain and sometimes more susceptible to stain.
